The Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje voted in Ganduje Cikin Gari polling unit at exactly 9:55 am.
The Governor voted in the company of his wife, Prof. Afsat Ganduje and their son, Abba Umar Ganduje, All Progressive Congress APC, House of Representative Candidate for Dawanki Tofa/Tofa Rimi Gado federal constituency.
Speaking about the process, Gov. Ganduje applauded the process so far but identified the challenge of delay in the accreditation process due to network problems faced in the engagement of the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System.
According to the Governor, “it takes time before you are been accredited I observe the machine did not function swiftly,it did not pick quickly “
He commended the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC saying the introduction and activation of BVAS is good for democracy.
He added that the BVAS will check election fraud and improve the process.
