Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Yusuf, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari, describing him as a symbol of patriotism, integrity, and selfless service to Nigeria.
In a condolence message, Governor Yusuf paid glowing tribute to the late leader, stating that Buhari’s life was defined by discipline, simplicity, and an unwavering commitment to the nation’s unity and progress both as a military head of state and as a civilian president.
“President Muhammadu Buhari dedicated his entire life to the service of our dear country with courage and sincerity,” the Governor noted. “His steadfast devotion to the welfare of ordinary Nigerians will remain a guiding light for future generations.” he added.
Governor Yusuf extended his condolences to the late President’s family, the government and people of Katsina State, and all Nigerians mourning this national loss.
He prayed for Almighty Allah’s mercy on the soul of the former President, asking that he be granted eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus and that the nation finds the strength to bear this profound loss.
