The Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP, Kano State Command, Umar Ahmad Chuso has commended six newly promoted senior officers for their dedication and hard work, urging them to uphold professionalism.
He also advised them to justify the trust placed in them by the Inspector General of Police.
Speaking during the decoration ceremony at the Kano State Police Command, DCP Chuso reminded the officers that their elevation to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) comes with greater responsibilities and challenges.
He emphasised the need for integrity and unbiased decision-making in their duties.
“You must be God-fearing in your decisions because, at this stage of your career, any wrong decision will have a significant impact on the job,” DCP Chuso cautioned.
The newly promoted officers; Suleiman Jibrilla, Hussaini Yalwa Mohammed, Isiyaku Mustapha Daura, Garba Audu, Jamilu Mohammed, and Ibrahim Umar Makarfi, were decorated with their new ranks following their promotion by the Police Service Commission (PSC).
Some of the officers expressed their gratitude for the recognition and pledged to continue serving with dedication and professionalism.
