Kano State: Police, PCAC Unite To Fight Against Corruption

The Kano State Police Command and the Public Complaints and Anti Corruption Commission, PCAC have agreed to strengthen partnership in the fight against corruption in the state.

The commitment was made when the new Commissioner of Police, CP Salman Dogo, played host to the Chief Executive of the State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission, Barrister Muhyi Magaji, and his management team during a courtesy visit.

Dogo reaffirmed his determination to build on the existing relationship between the Command and the state anti-graft commission.

He reassured the support of the Nigerian Police in ensuring effective service delivery in the aspect of fighting corruption and other related issues.

CP Dogo also solicited advice and all the necessary support from the Anti-Graft Agency to achieve the set objectives.

The Chief Executive Kano Public Complaint and Anti – Corruption Commission, Barrister Muhyi Magaji informed the CP that, they were at his office to familiarise and seek ways of strengthening collaboration.

Magaji solicited more support from the Nigerian Police with a view to achieve it’s mandated.

He said; “We are here to welcome our New CP, and also assure him of our readiness to works together,and also to solicit for more support geared towards Achieving the stated goals.”

Magaji added the Nigerian Police is a critical stakeholders in providing support to the commission for effective service delivery.
