Kano State set for One Million-Man Permanent Voters’ Card Show

The Director, Northwest Support Group of the Tinubu Campaign Council in Kano, Bappa Babba Danagundi, has announced that preparations for the One-Million Man Permanent Voters’ Card (PVC) Show, due to take place in Kano have reached an advanced stage.

He stated this on Friday while addressing newsmen on the planned event to show support for the leading All Progressives Congress Party’s (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The event which is scheduled to hold at 2pm on Sunday, November 20, 2022. Supporters will be displaying their Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVC), marching from the Emir’s palace in the ancient city through to Kofar Nassarawa, State Road and to the Government House roundabout in colours.

The sea of supporters is due to be received by His Excellency the Kano state Governor, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, his deputy, Alhaji Nasiru Gawuna flanked by the distinguished Senators from the party in the state and other important dignitaries.

Also participating in the one million PVC walk will include the elder son of the party’s presidential candidate, Seyi Bola Tinubu, Abba Umar Ganduje, Muhammad Umar Ganduje and Yahaya Nasiru Gawuna.

“Preparations have reached an advanced stage. As you can see, a lot of people have been trooping into the Tinubu Campaign Office in Kano registering their preparedness to join the walk. 

 “You can see a lot of them going out with caps, glucose and water packages and others in preparation for the walk.

 “Security agencies could also be seen to be performing surveillance activities at the said routes. 

 “Men of the road traffic agencies are also not left out in the preparation for the traffic control job. 

 “More so, announcements are all over the media stations in Kano as well as other national media outfits.

 “It is going to be a very big event with musicians and other entertainers from all parts of the country in attendance to perform live.

 “In addition, there will be horse and camel riders to add colour to the event,” Danagundi stated.
