Kano State Will Witness Massive Development And Economic Transformation – Governor Yusuf

The Northern Nigeria’s Commercial City of Kano will immediately witness massive Development of various kinds and in all facets.
Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf made the pledged when mammoth crowd of supporters received him and his entourage in the city to celebrate his victory at the Supreme Court.
The Governor who was addressing the people promised to fight drug abuse and trafficking among the youths as well as thuggery in the state.
Governor Yusuf who thanked the Almighty and the people of Kano said, he will ensure that, all the stolen funds of the state are retrieved from corrupt officials.
He also promised to revamp the economy and the industrial sector of the state and create job opportunities for the teaming unemployed youths.
Also, the Deputy Governor Abdussalam Gwarzo informed the people that, the governor is determined to sustain all local and International scholarship schemes for students in the state.
He said, the mass wedding schemes and many development programmes of the state will be sustained.
Kano residents in their thousands gathered at the popular great Mahaha field to welcome whom they described as the people’s choice for Kano, Governor Abba Yusuf, after the Supreme Court judgement.
The Governor who arrived Kano by road through Zaria was received by a mammoth crowd of supporters of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in the Northern Commercial city.
Many drove from various Local Governments to the city center in solidarity of Governor Yusuf’s victory at the supreme Court.
It was a very long convoy that moved to Kano from Kaduna and the roads leading to the Mahaha field venue for the celebration were field with joyous crowds with many dressed in the usual kwankwasiya regalia which is red and white.
It took the governor over six hours to reach the venue from within the Kano city as the crowd chants solidarity songs.
Some of the people who spoke to Voice of Nigeria expressed happiness with the Supreme Court judgement and urged Governor Yusuf to continue with his development policies and programmes.
