Katsina Police Commissioner Decorates 181 Newly Promoted Officers

The Katsina State Commissioner of Police, Aliyu Abubakar Musa, has officially decorated 181 police officers recently promoted to higher ranks.

The decoration ceremony was held at the Katsina Police Command Headquarters and drew a gathering of senior police officers, family members, and friends of the honorees.

In his remark at the ceremony, the Commissioner of Police thanked the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, and the Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC) for finding the officers worthy of promotion.

The commissioner, while congratulating the newly promoted officers on their well-deserved promotion, charged them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, dedication, integrity and transparency in the course of their duties.

He further called on friends and families of the promotees to continue supporting the officers in the discharge of their duties.

While delivering a vote of thanks on behalf of all the promotees, Assistant Commissioner of Police Aminu Abdulkarim appreciated the Inspector General of Police and the Chairman of the Police Service Commission for finding them worthy of the promotion and promised to give their best in serving the nation.

He further expressed gratitude to the Commissioner of Police for his support and mentorship, which had been instrumental in their career growth.
