Katsina State Executes Projects In 272 Political Wards In One Year
Katsina State government has executed project in 272 out of 361 political wards across the state.
The Deputy Governor of the State, Faruk Lawal said this at a one day activity aimed at strengthening partnerships between the government and civil society organisations, CSOs.
The Deputy Governor said the project executed in one year was in fulfilment of electioneering campaign.
He said government would within next one year, provide all the 361 wards with projects for Development of all sectors of the economy.
He pleaged that government would continue to ensure fairness and equity in the distribution of social amenities, assuring that no section of the state would be neglected.
Farouk also assured that the administration of Dikko Radda will run all inclusive government for the contribution of all stakeholders for smooth implemention of policies and programmes.
He Commended CSOs for their support and cooperation in all government activities.
ln her Speech, the Executive Secretary of the Management Board, Bilkisu lbrahim said the activity was organised to derive maximum collaboration with Civil Society organisations to ensure social amenities reach to the grassroots.
Bilkisu said the CSOs have vital roles in monitoring projects executed by Development Partners and assist government in identifying any challenges.
Earlier Chairman of CSOs in Katsina state, Abdulrahman Dutstinma assured that CSOs in the state would support government in achieving it’s set goals.
The activity with the Theme ‘Strengthening Partnerships for Progress’ was organised by Katsina State Development Management Board.
