Katsina State Government Honours Civil Servants for Outstanding Performance

Katsina State government has honoured fourteen civil servants for their exceptional contributions to the state’s public service in a ceremony marking the 37th anniversary of the state’s creation.

Governor Dikko Umar Radda presided over the event, held at the Government House, where ten of the recipients were awarded N2 million each, while four others received cars in recognition of their dedication and hard work.

During his address, Governor Radda reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving the welfare of civil servants and stressed the importance of recognizing outstanding performance as a means of motivating the workforce. He called on all public servants to support the ongoing reforms in the state’s civil service.

The state Head of Service, Falalu Bawale, responded on behalf of the awardees, expressing gratitude to the government for the recognition.

He emphasised that the initiative would inspire civil servants to strive for greater efficiency and excellence.

Bawale also noted that the honourees were carefully selected by their supervising directors from various ministries and departments.
