Kebbi Governor Assures Of APC Victory At Bye/Rerun Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State, has expressed absolute confidence in clinching victory at the bye election of Shanga/ Yauri/Ngaski Federal constituency as well as the rerun election in 25 polling units of the Arewa/Dandi Federal constituency, scheduled for 3rd, February 2024.

This is the official position of the party after a meeting of APC critical stakeholders chaired by the state Governor Nasir Idris at the Presidential Lodge, Birnin Kebbi on Tuesday.

Addressing journalists at the end of the meeting, the State Public Relations Officer of the party, Alhaji Isa Assalafi said Governor Nasir Idris summoned the meeting to adopt holistic approach on consolidating victory at the polls.

Assalafi said all stakeholders of the two federal constituencies of the APC as well as other leaders of the party from all parts of the state attended the meeting aimed at finalising strategies prelude to the bye and rerun elections.

“We are highly confident of achieving victory in both Shanga/Yauri/Ngaski as well as Arewa/Dandi Federal constituencies because history will repeat itself as the APC won in the constituencies during the last general election.

 

Some of the stakeholders, comprising the Chairman, Dandi Local Government, AbdulSalam Jibril, the Chairman, Arewa Local Government, Sani Aliyu Kulita, the Chairman Yauri Local Government, Bala Muhammad Gagga and the Commissioner for Health, Yunusa Musa Ismail, expressed confidence that the APC would triumph at the polls.

Dignitaries at the meeting were, the former Kebbi State Governor and Director General APC campaign council, Alhaji Saidu Dakingari and other party stalwarts.
