Kidnapped Islamiyyah pupils regain freedom

The Kidnapped Tegina Islamiya pupils in Niger state have regained freedom from their captives on Thursday evening.
The headmaster of the  school, Alhassan Abubakar who confirmed to Voice of Nigeria on phone, mentioned that  the released pupils of the Islamiya pupils  are on their way to  Niger state government house in the state capital.
The head teacher didn’t disclose if ransom was paid by either the government, philanthropists or members of the community.
Mallam Alhassan however said the health conditions of the students needed to be given quick attention as they were
held for three months without proper care.
The About 130 islamiya pupils in Tegina in rafi local government area of Niger state were kidnapped by bandits three months ago.
The Niger state government has earlier ruled out the payment of ransom for the release of anyone kidnapped by bandits.
The Commissioner of information Mohammed Sani Idris recently kidnapped was released  without the payment of ransom, according to authorities.
