Kogi Governor Presents Successor Ododo To NGF

Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello, has formally introduced his successor, Governor-elect Ahmed Usman Ododo to the Assembly of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF) in Lagos State, south-West Nigeria.

The introduction took place at the opulent Lagos State Government House in Marina, serving as the prelude to the governors’ subsequent visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s residence in Ikoyi for Christmas Homage.

While characterizing Ododo as the ‘new luminary’ of the forum, the Chairman of the NGF and Governor of Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, extended a warm welcome, expressing heartfelt congratulations on Ododo’s triumph in the November 11 governorship election in Kogi State.

Following the deliberations, the governors, alongside Kogi State Governor-elect Ahmed Usman Ododo, paid a visit to Mr President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for Christmas Homage.

The occasion not only witnessed the exchange of pleasantries but also facilitated substantive interactions with the President, delving into discussions that revolved around the paramount issues of national security and the economy.
