Kogi Guber Election: Governor Yahaya Tells Citizens to Look out for INEC Results, Shun Social Media

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state in north central Nigeria has urged people of the state to shun all Social media election  reports and wait for the official results that will be announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

He stated this shortly after casting his vote at PU011, Agassa Open Space, Okene Local Government Area, Kogi state.

He said it was through INEC that people will know the authentic winner of the off cycle election.

“Wait until you hear the official result from INEC. Don’t believe any social media report,” he said.

He expressed confidence on the electoral process so far, and urged the people to conduct themselves peacefully to the end.

He said he was happy to have served Kogi state, saying he is living the state better than he met it.
