The Kogi State Government in north central Nigeria has established and test run a medical oxygen production plant at the state’s remodeled Specialist hospital at Okene, now equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment.
The government says the oxygen production plant will ease availability of medical oxygen, currently in short lol lol supply in Nigeria.
According to the state government, there is increased demand for medical oxygen at the state tertiary health facilities especially during health emergencies such as disease outbreaks in the state. The world class equipment were test run for 40 hours non-stop.
The oxygen plant has the capacity to produce both liquid and gaseous oxygen and Nitrogen. Medical experts in the state have commended Governor Bello-led administration in the state for achieving landmarks in the health sector and medical science.
Signa Prime MRI, has been installed at Okene specialist hospital. the hospital is among six remodeled hospitals spread across the three Senatorial zones of the state under the healthcare infrastructure development programme of current administration in the state.
Governor Bello has reiterated his administration commitment to delivery of more infrastructure projects before completion of his last tenure as Governor of the confluence state, which prides itself as Nigeria’s state with confluence of opportunities.
