The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, said the disturbing video of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, North Central Nigeria is alarming as it incites his supporters towards violence in the 2023 general elections.

In a press statement, the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Debo Ologunagba, referred to the video going viral as a terror threat to the electorates.

According to Ologunagba, “This brazen threat by Governor Yahaya Bello raises apprehensions in the public space with a mind to inflict violence on Nigerians ahead of the 2023 general election.”

He said such outbursts instill fear in the electorates who have witnessed violent attacks in Kogi State in the last three years.
