The Kogi State House of Assembly has verified and approved three new nominees for effective service delivery through their positions in different domains of the State.

The Speaker of the 8th Assembly, Aliyu Umar Yusuf alongside other members of the House have painstakingly examined the dossiers of the nominees as submitted before they were confirmed.

Those that were confirmed are : Ohiare Abdulraheem as Executive Chairman Kogi State Security Trust fund, Abdulrazaq Mohammed as Executive Chairman Kogi State Universal Basic Education Board and Sule Salihu Enehe as Executive Chairman Kogi State Internal Revenue.

Speaking to the Assembly correspondents, Mr Ohiare Abdulraheem, a one-time local government administrator and security adviser reiterated that he would use his wealth of experience to tighten up security, building on the governor’s legacy on security matters.

He stated that the criminals who took advantage of transitioning procedures to resurface would soon meet their waterloo.

In his words “Kogi is bothered by 10 or 9 states no other state in Nigeria has such entry and exit points. It is prone to criminalities but for His excellency he was able to do his best…….while transitioning to the next government they couldn’t block some loopholes to God be the Glory we now have caretaker committee that was sworn in a week ago. I can assure you in the next one week it is going to be a thing of the past”.

It is worthy to note that the management of Kogi Sate affairs in these areas rest solely on the shoulders of the new executives while indigenes wait to see a better state.
