Kwankwaso Seeks Unity For Kano State Development

The Presidential Candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP in the 2023 General Election, Mr Rabiu Kwankwaso has called on the people of Kano state in Northwest Nigeria, to join forces for the peace and development of the state.

Kwankwaso made the call at a special Sallah celebrations organised by Kwankwasiya Development Foundation in Kano.

He said the time for all Kano Indigenes and indeed NNPP members to come together was now when the state is facing issues from highly placed politicians from different fronts.

Specifically, on the issue of Kano Emirates tussle, Kwankwaso said it has now turned to a political show of force against restoring the historic traditions of royal institution.

We won elections overwhelmingly but the enemies of the state are working hard to topple it, but Allah in his infinite wisdom intervened.

“It seems the enemies are at it again. You know what is happening on the Emirate Council and we thank all those who are supporting the position of Government in this regard we are one and will continue to be one,” he explained.

Kwankwaso noted that, Kwankwasiya Movement has continued to gather more followers in view of it’s people’s oriented policies and focused representation.

We are working to ensure that more and more people have joining the movement,” he stated.

The Commissioner for Higher Education in Kano state, Dr Yusuf Kofarmata said, the event was to celebrate Sallah with the leader of Kwankwasiya Movement and NNPP Leader, Rabiu Kwankwaso.

While congratulating Muslims for a peaceful Sallah celebrations, the Commissioner urged the gathering to reflect on the lessons and build a better society.

The special Sallah celebrations in Kano brought together leadership of the party as well as friends and well wishers from within and outside Nigeria.

Local and National musicians and artists had a field day with display of different dance steps from across the country.

From Nupe, Tiv and Jos in North Central to North West, and Southern Nigeria.
