Kwara State Christian pilgrims in Jordan have showered prayers on Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

The pilgrims prayed to God to continue to protect and guide President Tinubu and Governor AbdulRazaq as they continue to pilot the affairs of Nigerians and Kwarans, respectively.

Governor AbdulRazaq had earlier identified with the prospective pilgrims in the state before they departed the country where he accompanied them to Murtala Muhammed International Airport inLagos state.

Acknowledging Governor AbdulRazaq’s presence and kind gesture, the Executive Secretary of Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop (Prof) Stephen, said it was his first time seeing a governor accompanying the prospective Christian pilgrims of his state to the airport.

Bishop (Prof) Stephen, who joined the Kwara Christian pilgrims in commending Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, added that his gesture towards the pilgrims underscores his love for the good people of Kwara State.

The pilgrimage activities for 2025 have begun fully.

Like other Christian pilgrims from other countries, Kwara Christian pilgrims are visiting sacred places in Jordan and Israel for meditation and prayers before they return to Nigeria.
