The Kwara State Government has once again demonstrated its steadfast commitment to the development of healthcare by promptly disbursing the 2025 Medical Residency Training Fund (MRTF) to 37 resident doctors within the state civil service.
According to the State Commissioner for Health, Dr Amina Ahmed El-Imam, this marks the third consecutive year the state government has honoured its obligation to support resident doctors through the MRTF—an initiative that greatly alleviates the financial burden associated with their demanding training programmes.
Dr El-Imam expressed her appreciation to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his consistent support for the health sector and reaffirmed the administration’s dedication to strengthening human capital development in healthcare.
