By Tunde Akanbi, Ilorin
The Kwara State Governor, North Central Nigeria AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has extended his hearty congratulations to Senator Ibrahim Oloriegbe on what he described as his deserving appointment as the chairman of the National Health Insurance Agency (NHIA).
Governor AbdulRazaq in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye said the appointment perfectly fits the appointee, given Senator Oloriegbe’s background as a medical professional, his passion for the health sector, and his achievements as one-time chairman of the Senate Committee on Health.
Governor AbdulRazaq expressed his profound gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for the honour that this appointment — like the previous ones — represented for the people of the state, especially members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Make the NHIS Greater
The statement explained that the Governor is confident that Senator Oloriegbe would bring his wealth of experience, network, and goodwill to make the NHIS greater and more beneficial to the people.
Governor AbdulRazaq prayed that God gives the Senator all he needs to succeed in the new role, urging every stakeholder in the subsector to support the new chairman of the NHIS.
