The Kwara State Government has described the Nigerian Military as the most patriotic on earth.
The Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq made this known on Tuesday during a courtesy visit by the delegates on study tour from the Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji at his office.
The Governor, represented by his Deputy, Mr Kayode Alabi, admired discipline as an attribute in the military.
He said discipline was the basis of the whole universe and can curb negative behaviours and instill positive habits.
Governor AbdulRazaq acknowledged the underlying issue breeding terrorism and violence as lack of engagement for the teeming youths. This is why, he said, the administration has been engaging the youths through various empowerment programs.
He added that the youth must be proactive in solving problems and in making a difference.
In his remarks; the team lead and Chief Instructor B Division, Ahmad Mansur Dikko appreciated the Kwara State Government for the warm reception.
The delegates consist of 41 members on a study tour with this year’s theme: Enhancing National Security to Improve Socio-Economic Development.
