Kwara Governor mourns former Commissioner, Salman

The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has mourned the demise of the state’s former Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Aliyu Alarape Salman

Governor AbdulRazaq in a condolence  message by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye also commiserated with the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU), and the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) on the sad development, recalling the meritorious service of the late sage to Ilorin, the state as a whole, and to the law profession.

He asked Allah to forgive and admit the former Commissioner to al-jannah Firdaus, preserve all his heirs and the community on the path of righteousness.

The late Salman born on November 9, 1942 passed away at the age of 81.

The news of his peaceful passing was announced by Dr. Mobolaji Ojibara, a former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ilorin Branch
