The Kwara State Police Command has arrested three suspected cultists in connection with the brutal murder of two young men at the Insomnia Night Club in Tanke Oke-odo area in Ilorin.

The suspects, identified as Ridwan Alabi (aka Boshi), Taiye Sulieman (aka Sly), and Adebayo Abibullahi (aka Bibson), were apprehended at their hideout in the Tipper Garage area following a swift investigation.

The incident occurred in the early hours of 30th of May this year, when Useni Usman, 22, and Sulieman Garba, 25, were attacked and killed by the suspects, who are believed to be members of the Eiye Secret Cult Confraternity.

Parading the suspects at the Police headquarters in Ilorin, the Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Victor Olaiya, said the police recovered two locally made guns, a battle axe, expended cartridges, live ammunition, and two unregistered vehicles at the scene.

The Police boss added that the suspects confessed to their involvement in the crime during interrogation and revealed that three other accomplices, identified as Oluwanishola Yunus Olayinka (aka Yinka Bullet), Sodia Ajibola (aka JB), and Biola (aka B Red), are still at large.

CP Olaiya said the police are continuing their investigation to apprehend these remaining suspects.
