The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated the Chief of Staff to the President Prof. Ibrahim Gambari on his 78th birthday anniversary today, November 24, 2022.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye on Thursday, the Governor called the Chief of Staff an international statesman of all time whose service to humanity and contributions to global peace and collective security are well-documented for posterity.
“On behalf of the people and government of Kwara State, I send our warm felicitations to the Chief of Staff to the President, who is a pride of the state of harmony, on this joyous occasion. Whether as a scholar, international statesman, technocrat or as a public officer, Prof. Gambari exudes uncommon brilliance and inspires confidence in generations of Nigerians who have either met him or read his works and about his service to our fatherland,” the statement said.
“Our administration especially thanks the Chief of Staff for his multilayered support for the government’s developmental efforts in Kwara State. We beseech Allah to grant him long life in good health and God’s abiding blessings.”
In a similar congratulatory message, the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, rejoiced with the Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari, on the attainment of 78 years on earth.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari confirmed that Prof. Gambari is an essential gift to humanity as an accomplished academic, seasoned diplomat, statesman, and administrator who has contributed immensely to Nigeria and the international community.
The Emir, in a congratulatory message issued on Thursday by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, said: “Through his excellent services in various capacities that he has held in the past and at present, Prof Gambari has advanced the pursuit of democracy, peace, and development in Nigeria and the global community.
The Emir who also extended the greetings of the entire members of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council added, “W congratulate His Excellency, Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari, on the attainment of 78 years today Wednesday, November 24, 2022.
“We commend him for bringing his humility, integrity, substantive knowledge, and renowned acumen to bear on the processes of national governance.”
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari, however, prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the seasoned diplomat long life, sound health, and comfort in the meritorious service of the nation and humanity at large.
