Kwara State Governor Woos Prospective Development Partners In Morocco

In an effort to transform the economic status of Kwara State, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq who also doubles as the Chairman of Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) has held discussion with potential partners in Rabat, Morocco.
AbdulRazaq met the partners while participating in the opening sessions of the Africa Investment Forum (AIF) Market Days 2024 which was organised by the African Development Bank Group.
According to the Governor, he spent the session networking and talking to potential partners that will help improve the lots of the people by partnering with the State in executing its “high-impact projects”.
He said , “I spent the session networking and talking to potential partners for our high-impact projects such as the special Agro Processing zone and Ilorin Smart City.”
AbdulRazaq who was invited by the African Development Bank Group said this year’s edition which was themed “Leveraging Innovative Partnerships for Scale” will help in facilitating high-impact deals that will shape the future of the African continent.
He said, “Themed Leveraging Innovative Partnerships for Scale, the three-day AIF is Africa’s leading investment marketplace, which is designed to facilitate high-impact deals that will shape the future of the continent. ”
According to African Development Bank Group, The Africa Investment Forum which was launched in 2018 is a unique platform that accelerates Africa’s economic transformation through strategic investment by connecting project sponsors, government leaders, and key investors every year to facilitate promising projects toward deal closure.
Market Days boardroom sessions streamline the investment process by connecting bankable projects with capital from commercial banks, institutional investors, and other sources of financing to enable direct negotiations and deal-closing.
