Kwara State Pledges Improved Investment In Educational Programmes

The Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has reiterated the commitment of the State to invest in children’s educational programmes that support their dreams and aspirations.

The Governor said children bring boundless joy and hope to the world.

In his message commemorating the Children’s Day Celebration, the Governor expressed delight that the premium KwaraLEARN programme of the State Government is making an impact on kids’ learning skills.

According to him, this is part of the government’s motivation to expand the scope of the tech-based programme to cover more areas in the State. 

To strengthen access of our children to a qualitative basic education that enables them to compete fairly with their peers around the world, we will step up our school renewal projects” Abdulrazaq added.

He also assured that the state government will do a lot more in primary healthcare to guarantee the well-being of the younger ones and their mothers.

“I assure the Kwara child of our support every step of the way to actualise their dreams and reach their full potential”, he declared.

In his remarks while celebrating the occasion, the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Yakubu Danladi Salihu said as lawmakers, they remain committed to protecting and promoting every child’s right, the right to the best education, health care, clean water to drink, healthy food, and a clean and safe environment among others.

May they always feel loved, supported, and empowered to dream big” he stated.
