Kwara YPP elects new Chairman, Excos,

The Kwara state chapter of the young progressive party (YPP) has elected chief Dele Ogunbayo as the new chairman of the party in the State. Also, the party adopted consensus to elect new executives.
Ogunbayo replaced Charles Afolayan, who has served for over two years in office.

 

THE CHAIRMAN’S REMARK

In his remarks, The newly elected chairman, Chief Dele Ogunbayo, expressed delight to the members of the YPP for electing him as the chairman of the party. “I will not derail from the principles we have been following to pilot the affairs of this party. I will equally use the wealth of experience and wisdom to uplift the party to the greater height.
“One thing needs to be emphasised, YPP will by the grace of God rule Kwara State come 2023—our party, YPP will triumph in all elective positions in the State and even at the national. The success of our party is the handiwork of all of us.
He urged all newly elected members to be up and ready to work for the good of the State. “To my colleagues who are also elected from their various senatorial districts. Please, let us be up and doing and work as one family.
“We must all serve as good examples to other members of the party. Let this be our watchwords—Kwara State must be liberated from the hands of the cabals and bad eggs.”
“It is very important to remind all of us that, we are all in a race that must be won. Let us work with all we have and make sure the party wins  2023 elections. I need to plead to all that we must not hold grudges against one another. We must work as a team and I am pretty sure, success and glory will be ours.”
Ogundele expressed his profound appreciation to the party members for their steadfast support at all times and prayed that they would reap the fruits of their labor.
On his part, the former chairman of the Party, Charles Afolayan, congratulated the new party executives and charged them to work collectively to ensure the party’s victory at the 2023 polls.
