Labour Party, LP, has felicitated Nigerian Muslims for the successful conclusion of the Ramadan Fasting with the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, to usher in the month of Shawaal according to the Islamic Calendar.
In a message, the party through its National Secretary, Mr Umar-Farouk Ibrahim stated that; “the celebration is coming at the time when our country Nigeria is passing through several challenges: insecurity, hunger, poverty, unemployment, high rate of inflation, to mention but few.
”It is the party’s belief that Almighty Allah will answer the prayers rendered by the Muslim faithful during the Ramadan Fasting to restore peace, justice and equity to our country.”
The National Secretary of the party also prayed for Nigeria’s leaders that Almighty Allah should strengthen them and help them to govern well.
He further pray that God should give them the political will, courage and the patriotism to decisively fight the insecurity and economic challenges threatening the cooperate existence of the Nigeria.
