Labour Party: House of Representatives Candidate Supervises PVC Collection
Moses Nwite, Abakaliki.
The Labour Party’s (LP) House of Representatives candidate representing Abakaliki/Izzi federal constituency in Ebonyi state, South-east Nigeria, Dr. Ezeh Emmanuel Ezeh, has embarked on the inspection of Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) distribution by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
This move, according to him, is to ascertain the level of compliance by members of the public whose PVCs are ready for collection.
“I embarked on the supervision to also know the challenges of both the INEC who is distributing the PVCs and the registered voters, who are yet to collect their cards.
“I decided to make sure that all registered voters in the state collect their cards because everything that can make my party win the election lies on the PVCs,” he said.
Before now, Dr. Ezeh Emmanuel Ezeh had been working hard, campaigning for members of the public to go and collect their PVCs.
“I know that the Labour Party will win all the positions in the country but I am working very hard to make our victory a landslide type.
“I don’t believe in election malpractices, rather I believe in doing that right thing at the right time.
“Encouraging our registered voters to collect their PVCs is paramount, and knowing the challenges of the INEC is also important so that all hitches would be addressed,” Ezeh said.
He called on all Nigerians who are yet to collect their PVCs to do so in order to vote for the Labour Party to make the country better.
One of the persons who collected their PVCs, Pastor Kalu Udonsi, speaking on behalf of others, said he came with all his family members who have registered.
Udonsi encouraged other Ebonyi people who were yet to collect theirs to do so to enable them elect the right person.
The House of Representatives candidate visited various places in the state.
