Labour Party Vice Presidential Candidate Visits Niger State

The Vice Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Dr Datti Baba Ahmed has urged politicians to desist from the campaign of calumny and ethnoreligious sentiments in the ongoing political activities in the country.
Dr Datti stated this during a town hall meeting with some Labour Party supporters in Minna Niger State North Central Nigeria. The meeting is part of his ongoing tour to 13 states in Northern Nigeria in preparation towards the 2023 general elections in the country.
The LP vice Presidential candidate further encouraged the electorates to ignore ongoing propaganda by opposition parties against the Labour Party. He reminded their supporters that a united Nigeria where every citizen has an equal stake is better than a divided one.
Dr Datti appealed to the party’s stakeholders on mass persuasion of people across the state.
He however advised Nigerians to be united and not to allow politicians to create disharmony among them “The technical meaning of peter Obi is that Nigerians must be united and once we are united we can defeat all our problems”.
“When other politicians have nothing to say, they bring the politics of religion and ethnicity”, added Dr Datti
The Coordinator of the Coalition of Support Groups for Peter Obi and Ahmed Datti in the state, Habila Daniel Dikko told Journalists that there is a need to improve the sensitisation of the people to see that Peter Obi emerges as President by 2023.
A member of the Coalition and Publicity Secretary of the Nigeria Youth Movement for Peter Obi and Datti Ahmed (NYMPODA), Daniel Atori advised Nigerians to vote for Peter Obi as the most credible candidate for the 2023 Presidential election.
