Accreditation and voting have commenced in major polling units in Umuahia, Abia State Southeast Nigeria.
The two exercise are going on simultaneously as eligible voters turn out in large numbers to cast their votes.
The process is going on smoothly under the watch of officers of the Nigerian Police Force and officers of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, who are there to ensure peaceful coordination of the election.
