Lawmaker Calls For Peaceful Coexistence as Muslims Celebrate Sallah

The member representing Fufore/Song Federal Constituency of Adamawa State in the House of Representatives, Mr. Aliyu Waikil Boya, has called for peaceful coexistence among Nigerians as Muslim faithfuls mark the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
He also appealed to Nigerians to always work together for the continuous growth of the country.
The lawmaker urged Nigerians to be their brothers’ and sisters’ keepers as achieving a better society would demand the efforts of all.
He appealed for the spirit of tolerance and perseverance despite the harsh economic climate.
Mr. Boya equally expressed confidence in the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led administration to lead the country to a better place for all.
“The government is working tirelessly to address the challenges and we are confident that they will soon become a thing of the past. I urge Nigerians to work as brothers and sisters and look to the future with hope.
“We will continue to play our roles as a government and I count on the prayers and support of the people to ensure a better Nigeria for all,” he said.
He expressed confidence that the government would surmount the various challenges facing the country.
The lawmaker urged Nigerians to always put the interest of the country above every other interest, noting that the motivation should be the love for humanity.
He urged the Muslim faithful to reflect on the significance of the celebration and share love everywhere they find themselves.
He further urged Nigerians to continue to work for the peace, unity and progress of the country.
