A lawmaker representing Gwadabawa/Illela federal constituency (PDP-Sokoto State), Balarabe Salame, has empowered 57 constituents with tricycles, motorcycles, and pumping machines.

According to reports, Salame, who made the donations at his residents in Sokoto State, gave four tricycles, 25 motorcycles, and 33 water pumping machines.

According to him, the gesture was part of his commitment to empowering his constituents to improve their socio-economic activities and living standard.

” We believed that with the pumping machines, the farming activities would improve and provide the opportunity to achieve food sufficiency in the state.

” Also, the tricycles and motorcycles if judiciously used, would enable our teeming youths to be self-reliant, improve their income and socio-economic activities in their area,” Salame said.

The Federal lawmaker urged the beneficiaries to use the gesture and improve their socio-economic activities.

In his remarks, the State People’s Democratic Party, PDP Chairman Alhaji Bello Goronyo, commended the lawmaker for the gesture.

Goronyo said the constituency intervention was part of the dividend of democracy the ruling party failed to provide to Nigerians.

The State Party Chairman urged the beneficiaries to use the gesture for their overall benefit.

He also called on the party supporters to continue to rally support for the party and ensure victory at all levels come 2023.
