The Commission warned that any political party that fails to involve KWSIEC in their primary election process would have their primary results invalidated.

This is contained in a statement issued by the Chairman of the commission, Mallam Okanla Baba.

According to the statement, the decision comes as part of it’s ongoing commitment to ensure the integrity and transparency of the electoral process.

It stated that the involvement of the state Electoral Commission was crucial for maintaining public trust and upholding democratic principles.

*Key Points of the New*  *Policy shall be as stated below*

This includes the presence of official observers at voting sites and the implementation of standardized election procedures.

The commission emphasised that the State Electoral Body would not recognise or accept any primary results from parties that do not adhere to this policy.
