‘Love Nwantiti’ lands Ckay his first Award

Nigerian singer and Spotify record breaker has received his first ever plaque presented by The BRIT Awards to recognise his sales in the United Kingdom excess of 200,000, for his single, ‘Love Nwantiti’.

The superstar took to his Instagram page to announce his newest accolade.

“My first plaque” he captioned his post.

The single which has been dubbed ‘international anthem’ has broken several records and made history on Shazam,Apple Music, Spotify and other platforms.

The BRIT Awards are the British Phonographic Industry’s annual popular music awards. The name was originally a shortened form of “British”, “Britain”, or “Britannia”, but subsequently became a backronym for British Record Industry Trusts Show. It was founded 44years ago.
