The TYB International Golf Resort and Country Club in Abuja played host to the maiden edition of the Green Fairway Amateur Golf Championship, attracting over 150 golfers. Lt. Col. Usman Ibrahim emerged victorious, claiming the overall best net winner title.
Ibrahim’s Victory
Playing off handicap 19, Ibrahim carded a gross score of 79 and 60 net to take the top spot. “I feel elated, happy, and honored,” he said. “Winning among 170 competitors is no easy feat. This tournament’s focus on aiding the less privileged resonates deeply with me, making this victory even sweeter.”
