Manchester United Signs Danish International Christian Eriksen
Premier League side Manchester United have completed the signing of Danish international midfielder Christian Eriksen on a three-year contract.
Eriksen, 30, has strengthened Erik ten Hag’s midfield options at Old Trafford after deciding against remaining at Brentford, where he enjoyed an impressive spell on loan last season after his recovery from a cardiac arrest.

The move sees Eriksen reunite with Ten Hag, who helped facilitate the midfielder’s return from the cardiac arrest he suffered at Euro 2020 inviting him to train with Ajax during his rehabilitation.
The midfielder’s arrival will also relieve some of the pressure on Bruno Fernandes in the attacking midfield role, considering rotation will be a key factor in mounting a successful Premier League campaign.
Manchester United will also be competing in the FA Cup, the Carabao Cup and the Europa League.
Eriksen will not join United’s pre-season tour of Australia due to the long flight involved from the UK.
