The stock market remained in the positive territory on Thursday ,having gained 0.04% to close at 39,144.39 points while the market capitalisation rose by N9 billion to close at N20,486 trillion from N20,477 trillion the previous day.
A total of 175.25 million shares worth N1.92 billion were exchanged in 3,051 deals on Thursday.
At the close of trading,the exchange recorded 18 gainers as against 15 losers.
Across the sub-sectors, three of the five indices closed in the red zone.The banking index lost 0.04%,the insurance index lost 0.40% and the Consumer goods index lost 0.01%.On the positive side, the Oil and gas index gained 0.21% while the Industrial index remained flat.
