Media Accreditation Window Opens For Morocco 2025 AFCON

Cote d’Ivoire are the defending champions of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The Confederation Africaine de Football (CAF), has announced that the media accreditation process for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), tagged Morocco 2025, opened  on the 1st of September, 2025 and will close on Friday, 10th October 2025.

The CAF Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2025 will be staged from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026.

Media representatives wishing to cover the tournament are invited to submit their applications exclusively via the CAF Media Channel.

Accreditation Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Have an active account on the CAF Media Channel.

Be a professional journalist, photographer or media practitioner representing a recognised media outlet.

Hold a valid press card or an official letter of assignment from their organisation.

Provide a copy of a valid passport (minimum six-month validity) for all international media representatives.

Morocco-based media may use either their passport or a valid national ID card.

Upload a recent, high-quality, passport-style photo (head and shoulders, plain background).

Ensure that all information provided is accurate and complete. Incomplete or inaccurate applications will not be considered.

Please note:

All applications are subject to approval.

Accreditation will not be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Successful applicants will be duly informed and provided with detailed guidelines in due course.
