Meet Martha Martins a contestant of MBGN 2021
National Youth service Corps member Martha Martins who is currently serving in Voice of Nigeria has been shortlisted as one of the 37 contestants to compete for the crown of Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) pageant 2021.
The 23 year-old model and media writer Martha was able to get pass the first screening that was done via Zoom meeting and would now be competing as Miss Edo respective of her state of origin.
Her first pageant journey started in NYSC camp where she was crowned Miss NYSC of kogi state in March 2021, it didn’t end there, as she also came third place for an in-house pageant, Most Beautiful Campus Queen.
In an interview with VON she expresses her gratitude;
“To me beauty pageant isn’t about physical appearance, it’s about making an impact. Up until now I’ve seen nothing but the grace of God. I believe God has brought me to this stage for a reason. I am selfless, a goal getter, optimistic, talented and hardworking young woman who is ready to give back to the society, let God have his way with me and use this platform to actualize my dreams of becoming the next miss universe.”
The MBGN competition voting stage, which is currently ongoing commenced yesterday august 2nd and is to end in September.
The model calls out for support and sponsorship during the current voting stage, she promises to give back to the society after attaining victory as the winner of MBGN.
The pageant is organized by Silver bird group with the main purpose of sending representatives to international competitions. Originally known as Miss Universe Nigeria.
