Minaret university warns public against fake admissions

The management of Minaret University, Ikirun, Osun State, has issued a strong warning to the public to beware of fraudulent individuals and groups falsely claiming to represent the institution in admission-related matters.

In a public disclaimer released by the Registrar, the university clarified that it has not commenced any admission process or sale of Post-UTME forms for any academic session. The statement comes amid rising concerns over deceptive schemes orchestrated by impostors who have been circulating fake application forms and demanding payments from unsuspecting candidates, parents, and guardians.

The management emphasised that Minaret University has not authorised any individual, agent, or third party to collect money or process admissions on its behalf.

The university warned that it would not be liable for any financial loss or damages resulting from dealings with fraudsters. It also stated that anyone caught impersonating Minaret University for criminal purposes would be reported to the appropriate law enforcement agencies.
