Minister urges families of train attack victims to be patient

The Nigerian Minister of Transportation, Mr Muazu Sambo has urged relatives of the kidnapped victims of the March 28, 2022, Abuja -Kaduna train attack to be patient and remain prayerful.

He stated this while addressing the protesting family members in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

The relatives blocked the entrance to the Federal Ministry of Transportation Abuja, as early as 8 am, but later allowed the Minister, the Permanent Secretary and a few staff of the ministry to enter the ministry with representatives of the families around 12:16 pm.

The families are demanding the release of their loved ones who have been in captivity for over 115 days.

They also urged the government to accelerate action and ensure the release of their loved ones.
