The Special Adviser to the President on Senate Matters, Senator Basheer Lado, has commended the Nigerian Senate for the prompt and thorough confirmation process of Ministerial nominees.

Senator Lado, in a statement made available to State House Correspondents, acknowledged the leadership of the Senate in actualizing President Tinubu’s vision.

Appraising the profile of the ministers the President selected, the Presidential aide said that the selection underscores President Tinubu’s commitment to addressing Nigeria’s pressing needs and driving economic revitalization.

Senator Lado further noted that the appointments also demonstrate President Tinubu’s responsiveness to the aspirations of Nigerians and his commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy to the citizenry.

He lauded the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, for “his uncommon professionalism in steering the screening exercise of the seven ministerial nominees.”

“The ministers were carefully chosen based on expertise, wealth of knowledge, and extensive experience, equipping them to make impactful changes across key sectors.

“This selection also reflects President Tinubu’s dedication to fostering national unity, peaceful co-existence, and social harmony, building a foundation for a more vibrant and inclusive Nigeria,” he added.

The Nigerian Senate on Wednesday confirmed the seven nominees whose names were forwarded by President Bola Tinubu after reshuffling the cabinet last week.

The new ministers are Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, Idi Mukhtar Maiha, Dr Jumoke OduwoleSuwaiba Said Ahmed.
