MNJTF Commander Commends Dedicated Officers, Urges Resilience in Operations

The Force Commander of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), Major General Ali, has acknowledged the tireless service and dedication of the officers under his command.

He made this known while congratulating the Military Staff Officers (MSOs) during this year’s Eid Al-Fitr celebration at a special breakfast he organised for the officers in Ndjamena, Chad, on Wednesday, 10th April 2024.

This is contained in a statement issued by the Chief of Military Public Information, Lieutenant Colonel Abubakar Abdullahi.

General Ali, who used the opportunity to celebrate the conclusion of Ramadan, stressed how Ramadan serves as a potent reminder of the importance of perseverance, commitment and sacrifice, virtues that are also paramount in military service.

By drawing parallels between the fasting period and the demands of their duties, General Ali aimed to inspire further resilience among the officers.

On this occasion, the commander motivated the officers and all troops of the MNJTF, urging them to carry forward the lessons learned during Ramadan into their operational conduct.

He stressed the significance of embodying the values of commitment and sacrifice in their ongoing efforts to fulfil the MNJTF’s mandate.
