Mother’s Death: President Tinubu Commiserates With Jigawa Governor State

President Bola Tinubu has commiserated with the Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi on the death of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi.

In a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy,Mr Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu extolled the deceased’s community service and strongly encouraged her family to immortalise her by continuing her philanthropic undertakings, thereby ensuring her legacy lives on.

The President urged Governor Namadi and other family members who survived the deceased to take solace in the enduring good name she left behind.

Hajiya Maryam, who was the family’s matriarch, died on Wednesday, December 25.

She has been buried according to Islamic rites in the Governor’s hometown of Kafin Hausa, Jigawa State.
