MTN Nigeria, in partnership with the Anambra State Government, has distributed 550 digital tablets to students in 11 smart schools across the state to promote digital learning.

The donation, under the state’s Smart Learn Anambra initiative, aims to equip students with essential digital tools for 21st-century education.

According to Mazi Ejimofor Opara, Senior Special Adviser on New Media to Governor Chukwuma Soludo, each of the selected schools received 50 tablets for library use.

This partnership is a key step in bridging the digital divide and improving education in Anambra,” Opara said.

The handover was led by Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Chiamaka Nnake; Chairperson of the Post Primary School Service Commission, Prof. Nkechi Ikediugwu; and senior MTN Nigeria executives.

Opara noted that the project reflects a joint commitment to investing in education and empowering future leaders.

Smart Learn Anambra is the Soludo administration’s flagship effort to integrate technology into classrooms and encourage student innovation.
