Musk Announces Grok 3 AI Chatbot Launch
Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has announced that xAI’s newest artificial intelligence chatbot, Grok 3, will be introduced to the public on Monday. This revelation has sparked significant interest in the tech community, with many eagerly anticipating what innovative features and advancements Grok 3 will bring to the field of AI.
The live demonstration is scheduled for 8 p.m. Pacific Time (0400 GMT on Tuesday).
Musk has been outspoken about Grok 3’s capabilities and called it the “smartest AI on Earth.”
He underlined that Grok 3 is intended to perform better than current AI models, such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT, during a video conference at the World Government Summit in Dubai. The chatbot can reflect on its errors to attain logical consistency because it was taught on artificial data.
Musk also stated in his announcement of the impending launch that he will be offline until the weekend while he works with his team to refine the product.
His post states, “Will be honing product with the team all weekend, so offline until then.”

The announcement is made as the competition to create increasingly complex and affordable AI chatbots heats up.
DeepSeek, a Chinese business, has also garnered attention for their AI model, which competes with ChatGPT from OpenAI. Musk’s xAI wants to establish itself as a dominant force in this cutthroat industry, and Grok 3 is anticipated to bring cutting-edge capabilities and notable efficiency gains.
xAI hopes to directly interact with millions of people by incorporating Grok into Musk’s other businesses, especially the social media network X (previously Twitter).
Musk’s larger goal of developing a more open and decentralised AI paradigm is in line with this integration.
