As part of Ramadan observances, Muslim clerics and groups across Nigeria gathered in prayer for peace, unity, and economic progress in the country.
The Iyaloja-General, who is also the first daughter of Nigeria’s president, Chief Dr. Mujidat Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, and also the convener of the Ramadan prayer, highlighted the importance of prayer for the nation, especially the leaders, by seeking divine intervention for national development.

Speaking during the gathering, Chief Mujidat Folasade Tinubu-Ojo urged Nigerians to uphold the values of brotherhood, kindness, and love, stressing that these virtues should not be limited to the holy month of Ramadan but should be practiced throughout the year. She called on citizens to support one another, particularly in times of hardship, to foster social cohesion and national harmony.
Also present at the event was the former First Lady of Kebbi State, Aisha Bagudu, who offered prayers for the nation’s unity and stability. She appealed to Nigerians to show compassion to the less privileged, encouraging acts of charity and humanitarian efforts to uplift the needy in society.
Islamic clerics at the occasion offered prayers and good deeds are essential for national growth. They called on leaders and citizens alike to embrace onness highlighting the significance of Ramadan as a time for reflection, renewal and reconciliation.
