The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has successfully concluded the return airlift of Nigerian pilgrims from Saudi Arabia, signalling the end of the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage.
The final flight departed from Jeddah this morning at 10:30 am, transporting 87 pilgrims back to Kaduna State.
The return operation lasted 17 days, having commenced on June 13th.
NAHCON Chairman, Professor Abdullah Saleh Usman, expressed gratitude to Allah for the smooth and successful exercise, crediting the achievement to unity, cooperation, and strict adherence to laid-down guidelines.
In his farewell address, Professor Usman urged pilgrims to continue praying for Nigeria’s progress and to remember the nation’s leaders in their prayers.
The 17-day return airlift began on 13th June and ended smoothly, according to NAHCON Chairman, Prof. Abdullah Saleh Usman.

He also encouraged them to sustain the friendships and relationships built during the pilgrimage, fostering peace and harmony.
The Chairman reassured that NAHCON will continue to improve its services for Nigerian pilgrims, aligning with global best practices.
In brief, NAHCON completes the return airlift of 41,291 state pilgrims from Saudi Arabia in 101 flight operations in 20 days.
