The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has successfully completed the airlift of Nigerian returning pilgrims from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, marking the end of the 2025 Hajj exercise.
The final flight departed Jeddah today at 10:30 am, carrying 87 pilgrims bound for Kaduna State. This concludes a 17-day return operation that commenced on June 13.
In a statement Fatima Sanda Usara, Spokesperson for NAHCON, said the Chairman, Professor Abdullah Saleh Usman, expressed gratitude to Allah for a smooth and successful Hajj exercise.
Professor Usman attributed the success to unity, cooperation, and adherence to guidelines among stakeholders and pilgrims.
The Chairman urged pilgrims to pray for Nigeria’s progress and remember the nation’s leaders in their prayers.

He also encouraged them to sustain friendships forged during the pilgrimage, fostering peace and harmony.
Professor Usman reaffirmed NAHCON’s commitment to improving its services for Nigerian pilgrims, aligning with global best practices.
